Chris has been obsessed with K9s and training for nearly two decades. While studying multimedia in college, he ditched his coursework to travel to Alaska to train and handle for a musher competing in the Iditarod—foreshadowing his entire career of dogs + production (don't worry, he eventually graduated).
After years as a reality TV producer (ever see 'Mountain Men'? - he produced that), Chris moved into an off-grid yurt and built Run Your Pack: Pet Training and Working K9s. When kids came along, the yurt became his backyard teaching space and production studio : Thus Work Your Pack was born.
When he's not training Law Enforcement K9s, competing in PSA, or deploying his tracking dog for military training, Chris is behind the camera working to educate AND entertain—because, just like with dogs, if there's no power and engagement, there really isn't much learning either.
If he's not filming or brushing dog hair off his clothes, Chris can be found with his wife wondering how their three young children are now in charge of everything… Though he does escape occasionally to play some ice hockey.
